About the Plane's Mechanics...
Why is a Rotax more efficient then some of the older engines such as the Continental or Lycoming?
Continental and Lycoming engines can be an excellent choice for planes that can afford additional weight.
LSA's are designed with literally, "light" weight in mind and ofcourse reliability.
The chart illustrates the most obvious advantages of the Rotax when used in an LSA, as well as a disadvantage- a continental typically can withstand 1800 hours of normal operation before tbo (time before overhaul). While the Rotax's TBO is: only 1500 hours. Keep in mind the engine's capibilities will be based on numerous standards so times can vary.

Aero Propulsion provides an excellent run down on all necessary maintence procedures (and why they are necessary) for the Rotax engines- both 2 and 4 stroke.
Test Flights
- I am interested in a test flight?
Sounds great! Please send us an email or call us and we can make it happen! We do require however, that a small deposit fee be sent prior to the test flight to cover our expense as we fly to you. If you are to purchase an aircraft, all fees will be deducted from your purchase. The keys will be in your hands the same day if the bill of sale for that aircraft is finalized.

TO OBTAIN LICENSE:
The pilot's checklist:
- Are you atleast 17 years of age?
- Do you hold a valid driver's license or a current FAA third class medical?
If both of these are correct, you are ready to start training!
NOTE: If you currently have a private or commercial flight license and you hold a valid passing medical certificate, you do NOT need to continue with the training process.
The Training Process
You need to pass an FAA Light Sport Knowledge and Light Sport Practical (flight) test.
Fly Sport USA has a national database of instructors so you can locate a school or private pilot that is convenient for you.
Make sure to choose a flight instructor you feel comfortable with.
